What to see in Morocco

Dadès Valley

Known for the Dadès Gorges,, considered by some to be even more spectacular than those of Todra, this valley is characterised by its varied landscapes, its architectural richness and beautiful setting. From the top of the gorges, the vegetation is completely different to that below. The climate is cooler, so date trees cannot survive, and its main attraction is the fact that you can see the snow on the highest mountains from its sides. Its wild landscape is complemented by the streams, cliffs, canyons and the presence of the Kasbahs, large fortified constructions. During the journey you can see fields growing wheat, fruits, nuts, birch and almond trees. The Dadès Valley is one of the natural wonders of the centre of Morocco.
